Hello Michal, yes, I would have no problems with that. You may use the pictures under the Creative Commons Attribution Sharealike 2.5 licence (it seems to be preferable over the GFDL licence) Are you writing articles in Polish or English? If you edit English Wikipedia articles I would like to see a couple of them, just out of curiousness. best regards, Ole Nielsen Michał Winiarski wrote: > Can I use pictures of Messier's and NGC objects from Your page > (http://www.ngc7000.org/) in Wikipedia articles? Hi again, Michał Winiarski wrote: >> > I forgot to ask about using photos other than NGC or Messier (for example comets). Is it ok to use them on the same terms? Yes, no problems with that. Eventually, you could provide me with a list of the pictures (just the object names) you upload to Wikipedia Commons. best regards, Ole
Ok, that is a bit conflicting. Honestly, I haven't been looking into this copyright thing that thoroughly before. But I may have to look into it, maybe I will change the copyright statement on my web site removing the "non-commercial" part of it? Just go on using my pictures on Commons. best regards, Ole Michał Winiarski wrote: > There's a little problem with copyrights.
