Description

Campania, Cumae. Circa 475-470 BC.

AR Nomos (20mm, 7.06 g).
Facing lion's scalp, flanked on either side by boar's head
Large mussel shell.
Rutter 3 (O3/R3); SNG ANS -; SNG France 550; HN Italy 515.
Near Fine, toned, porous with a number of scrapes. Very rare.
