RIC VII 48 var. (reverse legend, star on reverse); Alföldi 5 var. (same); Depeyrot 41/1 var. (same).
EF. Unpublished variety.
Following the defeat of Licinius in mid 324 AD, Constantine increased production in the eastern mints in order to pay the costs of his increased spending. The rapid increase in coinage resulted in frequent mintmark and reverse legend variations.
