Description
Information added by Wikimedia users.
Deutsch: Theodor Scherer (1889-1951), General der Wehrmacht. Die Datierung des Fotos sollte lauten: Anfang 1942 (s. Zeitpunkt der Ordensverleihung)
English: Battle of Cholm, Soviet Union, german General Theodor Scherer (left) and an unknown german officer standing in front of a building. Please note: Date January 1942 seems to be not correct, because General Scherer is carrying the Knight's Cross, which was lent to him at the end of February same year. Concerning the date of the foto it might be better to say: early 1942.
