Summary[edit]

Description
English: This is an image of solar chromosphere covering 166 Mm x 166 Mm taken in the continuum near the Fe I 5434 Å spectral line with the Interferometric Bidimensional Spectrometer (IBIS) at the Dunn Solar Telescope, operated by the National Solar Observatory, in Sunspot, New Mexico. It shows a sunspot in the lower right, with the dark umbra and penumbra, surrounded by granulation.
